About Farm Bureau Finance Company
Since 1961, Farm Bureau Finance Company has proudly served the residents of Idaho with trusted financial solutions tailored to their needs. In 2025 we expanded our lending services into the state of Washington. Rooted in our mission to provide timely service, viable solutions, and lasting financial security, we’ve grown into a reliable partner for vehicle loans, residential second mortgages, recreational financing, and more.
With a strong foundation built on integrity and community, we continue to support members of the Idaho & Washington Farm Bureau Federations and clients of Farm Bureau Insurance Company of Idaho and Western Community Insurance. Farm Bureau Finance Company’s Policy on Privacy
We respect and share your concern for privacy in your personal life. It is necessary, however, for us to obtain certain personal information about you so we can provide you with the products and services you want.
Sources of Information. We obtain this personal information from you on applications, other forms, or from prior transactions with us. We may also obtain this information from public sources, and with your consent, from nonpublic sources, such as a consumer-reporting agency. We may also collect information about you from our affiliated companies.
Categories of Information We Collect. Examples of the information we collect includes: your name, address, social security number, birth date, telephone number, assets, income, prior transactions with us, our affiliates or others, vehicle registration information, and credit history. Examples of information from a consumer-reporting agency include creditworthiness and credit history.
Confidentiality and Security. We will not disclose any personal information about you, even if you are no longer a customer, to anyone except as permitted by law. We restrict access to your nonpublic personal information to those employees or agents who need to know that information to provide products or services to you. We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to guard your nonpublic personal information. We train our employees to respect our member’s privacy. We do not give your personal information to telemarketers or any other merchant.
Categories of Information We Disclose to Others. We may share personal information about you to others to provide you with services you request. We may provide relevant information to your insurer covering property on which we have a lien. We may also share limited information about our transactions and experiences with you among our affiliated companies. If you are paying insurance premiums under a premium finance loan, we share information with our affiliated companies who have written this insurance. If we share your personal information with an affiliated company, they are also bound by this same policy on privacy.
We may obtain or give information about you to credit or loss information bureaus. We may also provide limited information about you to third parties when necessary or appropriate to service a loan we have made to you. These parties include insurance agents and adjusters.
Affiliated Companies. Our affiliated Farm Bureau companies are Farm Bureau Mutual Insurance Company of Idaho, Western Community Insurance Company, and Farm Insurance Brokerage Company.
